The winner of the Open Championship of the United States Flavia Pennetta will miss the tournament in Wuhan, announced Tennis World.
The competition in China will be from the 27th of September to the 3rd of October.
After the US Open final, the 33 years old Pennetta announced that at the end of the season she will end her playing career. The Italian had planned to the end of the season appearances in two tournaments - in Wuhan and Pekin.
