Perez called the performance in Brazil a disaster. Red Bull driver Sergio Perez commented on his 11th place finish at the wet Grand Prix of Sao Paulo.
Nothing really worked. We started the race with very cold tires because at that moment we didn`t know that we could change them like everyone else did.
And then, because the car wasn`t in front, I [lost] grip and experienced a huge amount of spin, then spun into Turn 10-disaster. Then we stopped in the pits before the red flags - nothing was working.
We ended up fighting back, had a couple of good restarts, fought with Lawson, and then I lost position on Lewis [Hamilton] going straight into Turn 4, " Perez said.
