The head coach of Memphis Grizzlies, David Fizdale, was released from his duties, the NBA club said. David Fizdale's post will be temporarily busy with JB Bickerstaff. The break with Fedale comes only 19 games according football livescores since the start of the NBA season. Memphis won only 7 and lost 12 matches so far, as the `Grizzlies` are also in a series of 8 consecutive defeats. The tension in the team from the long series of losses was visible after teammate Mark Gasol publicly disagreed with coaching decisions following a loss by Brooklyn Nets on Sunday. The Spaniard was sent to the bench by Fedale at the end of the third quarter and so did not appear anymore in the game.
David Fizdale was appointed senior coach of Memphis on May 29, 2016. He led the team to 50 wins and 51 losses in 101 regular season games.
