Serena Williams: 250 weeks â„–1 in the world

Serena Williams continues to impress with her achievements in recent times. As is known, currently the American holds all four Grand Slam tournaments adviced by football picks (makes this feat for the second time in her career).

Moreover, after Wimbledon this year she passed the limit of $ 70 million dollars earned of prize money (the exact figure is 72.7 million dollars), as outpacing double the second in the ranking - Maria Sharapova (35.8 million dollars).

This week Serena Williams made another curious achievement. She became the fourth player in the history, which has led the rankings for 250 weeks. The American is just on 10 weeks of the third at this list, Chris Evert (260 weeks No1).

Convincing leader in this ranking is Steffi Graf with 377 weeks at the top of the rankings. The second is Martina Navratilova with 332 weeks.

Even more impressive for Williams is that she has spent more weeks as No1 in the last two and a half years, compared with her entire career before. Since February 2013 until now she is already 127 consecutive weeks No1. Previously she was generally No1 for 123 weeks.

"I feel better now. I had a little problems, but overall physically I feel much better. I feel that I can do more than I could before 10 or 12 years, "said Serena.
